3. How does SmartShelter PDF work? A SmartShelter plug-in is to be installed in Acrobat and can be used like any other plug-in in the Acrobat environment. After the installation, the plug-in can be found in the document properties in the "Security" section. Just select the security system "WIBU CodeMeter Security" or "WIBU WIBU-KEY Security"; the plug-in is completely embedded in the Adobe security handler and provides a full and secure alternative to the standard Acrobat security schemes. The WIBU-KEY or CodeMeter protection hardware is used to generate the encryption key, so that there is no access to the protected document without the hardware. |
